Armor Guide

This area is mostly dedicated to leather armor as that's the primary armor of choice for Rangers. At some point this will expand to encompass more armor types. Given changes to the way that mixing armor works, it seems it's wisest to stick with training a single armor unless you're a Paladin, though leather hand and head gear is sub-par at best. My advice to starting Rangers is to try to learn some Heavy Chain early on. Most people scream for light chain, but I find that without the added hinderance of the HC, that it's very difficult to learn. You can keep a pair of leather gloves in your pack if you're worried about stealth or hunting above your circle. The benefits of chain can end up being substantial and a few more TDPs never hurt.
