*Hair and beard length shifts can only be shifted one increment shorter or
longer at a time. For example, very long hair to long would be one shift.
The possible hair lengths are bald, thinning, cropped, short, shoulder
length, long, very long. Shifted beards, like normal beards, will disappear
if you die. Beard prevention is permanent.
